Welcome!

Welcome to my blog for my public relations research class! I'm going to be focusing on reality television and public relations Within the past ten years, reality television has taken over our television sets. From Survivor to The Jersey Shore, reality television is one of the cheapest to produce and are the most profitable.

Recently, even public relations has become the focus of reality shows, such as E! Network's "The Spin Crowd" and Bravo's "Kell on Earth." The shows make the world of PR seem glamorous and don't focus on what public relations really is. Reality TV has always been a guilty pleasure of mine and connecting it with my love for PR seems natural.
